Apostle of Hustle Ticket Giveaway

apostleofhustle.jpg It's no wonder why Broken Social Scene are taking a "significant break" right now, aside from appearing at various festivals. It seems that all of the 1233 band members are busy working on their own projects at the moment, including lead guitarist Andrew Whiteman. On February 6th, Whiteman and bandmates are set to release Apostle of Hustle's sophomore album National Anthem of Nowhere on the Arts & Crafts label. To celebrate, the band will be doing a residency, called "Ouija," at the Rivoli one night a week over the next month, bringing along some special guests.

Dates:

Jan. 24 - with The Besnard Lakes
Jan. 31 - with Alex Lukashevsky
Feb. 7 - with Woolly Leaves
Feb. 15 - with Darkhand & Lamplight

Want to go? Courtesy of Arts & Crafts, we have a pair of tickets to give away for each show (so four pairs in all). Email carrie@torontoist.com with your full name and the answer to this question: What is Apostle of Hustle's first album titled?

Contest closes on Jan. 30th. Names will be randomly drawn for the tickets (first pair will be drawn on Jan. 23rd).

Tickets for each show may also be purchased at Soundscapes and Rotate This for $10.
