The Beat Doesn't Go On

2006_10_03DrumCircle.jpg This year's final drum circle, that weekly celebration of ancient rhythm and dreadlocks, is tonight in Queen's Park, beginning at dusk and ending at 11:00 PM. If you have never been, remember that drum and dance have been an ancient human ritual since prehistoric times, and there might just be an eternal drumming in your soul?

Think fire spinning, glowstick croquet, jembe drums, flutes, didgeridoos, dancing and an "om" circle at the end. Trippy, man.
