Promo Girl to the Rescue
As was reported in last Saturday's Globe and Mail, the CBC is in dire need of our help. And it's not exactly for funding or to fill an empty archives position -- it seems that there have been a number of strange occurrences in and around the Mother Corp recently. The CBC Radio has put Promo Girl on the case, who is making public appeals for help with the mysteries. This week, it appears that Sounds Like Canada host Shelagh Rogers has been kidnapped. At post time, Promo Girl had strong suspicions about Play's main man with the microphone, Jian Ghomeshi, though the evidence is purely circumstantial.

Right now, let's not point fingers, let's just try to get Shelagh Rogers back safe and sound. Follow along here for clues...

i love PG!!!! hawtt!
a little slice of sunshine between teh world class reporting
that dumb cbc mystery thing is so lame I can't believe you're actually writing about it. lame-o!
looks like someone is a little upset they didn't win the retro cbc t-shirt yesterday.
What's really a mystery is how a third rate
contest like Promo Girl in "The Mystery of..."
yada yada yada actually gets on the air!
Not particularly clever, amusing or even
mildly irreverent, except perhaps to those
directly involved with it.
Talk about over-hypeing a lame duck contest.
Bored?
We're talking James Bored with a licence
to snooze and listening to this clag is
killin' me.
Partying in Antigonish with Promo Girl
and Sam Roberts and 20 CBC fawning,
hipster dweebs on Labour Day, sounds
like the kind of swag you'd find in
specially marked cases of Molson Canadian!
Here's a thought, why not have the
individual clues in this lame-o mystery
actually involve a modicum of intelligence
solving!?
Oh well...
At least I've managed to solve the mystery
of what those 'CBC' call letters stand for...
Contest - Blows - Chunks!
